My deepest sympathy to the family. Losing a loved one is one of the most painful thing in this world. But rest assured that Jehovah our God sees our sorrows and deeply cares about us. (1Peter 5:7) May you find comfort in God's word recorded in John 5:28,29 which promises a resurrection hope for all our dear loved ones.

Dear Kathy and Burl, Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for the loss of Burl. I know how much he loved his family and how much you all loved him. I hold on the fact that he is with Jesus, and because of that we will see him again. As you know I spent a lot of time with him while being neighbors, he told me he accepted Jesus as his savior, we lost him on earth but we will spend eternity in haven with him. Kori, I know how much you loved Burl, I know first hand how much he loved and adored you. It will be difficult to go on without him, hold on to your memories, death cannot steal them. Some day when your ready the tears will stop and you will smile at his memories. Your bond will never be broken. My prayer for now is comfort and peace. Taelor and Trey, you were so blessed to have this man as your daddy. You have a great foundation. I know you will make him proud, along with the rest of us. I love you all.

What an awesome guy! Having met him twenty some years ago, he was a kind person to everyone that I ever witnessed him engage with. Thanks for the memories during karaoke. All the best to his family at this sad time. Burl, may your memory be eternal.

From first grade soccer to the last time we saw each other, it was never without a hug from you. Thanks for always standing up for what was right and being friends with everyone, it is truly amazing the number of people who know you and call you a friend, and I am honored that I was one of them. Rest in peace my friend.

So many memories, so many laughs. I will miss our talks, I will miss our beers together. I will miss seeing you give your daughter away and miss you guiding your son. But they wont. I will make sure they know you are there because I will be there. You have so many friends that will carry your torch. You have made lasting impressions wherever you went. You have been my best friend and I love you for it! Rest easy my friend. I will see you again one day, just not today.
